What runs in your browser

The QR code generator, deep link builder, and bot token tester run entirely client-side. The bot token tester calls api.telegram.org/getMe directly from your browser — your token is never sent to tgkit servers.

What we collect on backend tools

Tools that hit our backend (ID resolver, username history, channel finder) log the request itself (timestamp, the username or query, response status) and the requesting IP address — solely to enforce rate limits and block abuse. Logs are kept for 30 days and automatically deleted.

We do not associate IP addresses with the queries you made in any publicly-accessible record. We do not sell, share, or sublicense this data.

Cookies and analytics

tgkit uses privacy-preserving analytics (Plausible) to count page views. No cookies are set, no cross-site tracking happens, and no personal data is collected.

Data about Telegram users in our index

The username history and channel finder products store data about public Telegram entities (channels with a @handle, public bots, users who have set a public username). We do not store data about private chats, invite-only channels, or users with private profiles.

If you are a Telegram user or channel owner and want your public-profile metadata removed from tgkit's index, email [email protected] from an address associated with the account, or send a DM from the channel/account itself to @tgkit_support. We process removal requests within 7 days.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you at [email protected]. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act; California residents have additional rights under CCPA. We honor all of them regardless of where you live.

Children

tgkit is not directed to anyone under 16. If you believe a child has used our services and we hold their data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
