Telekit's addresses stopped resolving, which is why searches for it land here. It did three separate jobs, and each one now has a place to go. Nothing below needs an account.
Telekit is not reachable at the domains people search for. Checked on 15 August 2026 from two different networks: telekit.io, telekit.net and telekit.org return NXDOMAIN, meaning the names do not resolve at all. (telekit.com resolves but belongs to an unrelated company.) It was used for three things, and the replacements are split accordingly: browsing a directory, searching by keyword, and checking a t.me link.

The three jobs, and where each one went
- Browsing a directory. The Telegram channels list gives you twenty topics to click through. The difference worth knowing: it is not a stored list of submitted links, it runs a live search each time, so it cannot go stale but it also has no editorial descriptions.
- Searching by keyword. The search engine queries Telegram's own public directory for channels, groups and bots, and the group finder is the same search fixed to groups.
- Checking a link. The link checker
takes either shape: a public
t.me/nameor a privatet.me/+invite, and tells you whether it is live, what is behind it, and how many members it has, without joining.
Checking a t.me link without a checker site
t.me/somenameis public. The link checker resolves it and tells you whether it is a channel, a group, or a bot, plus its numeric ID and Telegram's own scam and fake flags.t.me/+AbCdEfort.me/joinchat/...is a private invite. The same checker reads the title and member count without joining, and tells you plainly when the link no longer works.t.me/c/1234567890/42points inside a private chat and opens only if you are already a member.

What a live search does better, and worse
A submitted-link directory has one real advantage: a human wrote a description and put the entry in a category. It has one fatal problem: it only knows what somebody bothered to submit, and it keeps showing it long after the channel dies. Searching Telegram's public directory live is the opposite trade. Everything public is reachable whether or not anyone submitted it, and the results are current, but nobody has curated them. For finding a channel that exists right now, live wins. For being handed a tidy annotated list, it does not.

Is there a replacement for the Telekit link checker?
For a public t.me/name link, Get Telegram ID resolves the handle and tells you whether it exists and what kind of thing it is. For a private t.me/+ invite link, open it in Telegram and stop at the confirmation screen: it shows the title and usually the member count before you join.
Do I need an account to use these?
No. Nothing on tgkit asks you to log in, connect your Telegram, or give a phone number. Any Telegram tool that wants your login code is taking your account.
